About

#/b/ is a 18+ channel inspired by 4chan's random board. Due to the nature of its mother board, it has no required topics and thus conversations often result into shitposting. #/b/ is one of the larger 4chan-related channels and its users are mostly weeaboos, furries and bronies. Chatting is encouraged, but people prefer to idle.

The channel literally stayed unregistered for a while because people organized raids there. A /join would fucking AUTOKILL you. In mid 2011, it was then re-registered by Kazisho with the help of IRC Cops. In early 2012, Kazisho lost all of his operator statuses in every channel, because he accidentally grouped his nicknames wrong; he grouped them all under MichaelJackson. He then re-registered the channel and thus it looks like the channel has been created in 2012.

In early January, Cap was banned, however, Ryu77, being the deutschbag he was, gave Cap his operator rights back, which he (ab)used to kick and ban everyone, set up a secret keyword, set the user limit to 6, etc. so no one could join. The motives were not clear, since ChanStat was also kicked but people assume it happened due to infantile channel wars between #/b/ and a now-frozen channel. Cap has since then been unbanned and remains voiced. As of April, Bui a user named Kemo joined again.
